Editorial training
Perfectly Write is all about helping authors develop their writing. That's why – in addition to my freelance book proofreading, editing and writing services – I also work as an editorial tutor.
Through the company Editorial Training I tutor freelancers, writers and staff in companies, organisations and publishing houses. I share the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years to help people develop their proofreading, editing and writing skills.
My tutoring style
Does the word 'spelling' bring you out in a cold sweat? Does just thinking about grammar make you yawn? No doubt you're harking back to school days when English class was an intolerable bore and little more than an excuse for a doze.
Happily, learning doesn't have to be so dry and dull. As a tutor, my aim is to engage and interest course participants and to convey my passion for the written word (in the hopes that it will be shared). I believe participants should leave a course feeling positive about their editorial abilities and buzzing with new ideas and skills.
